OSRS Wilderness Diary Guide | Tasks & Rewards (2024)

The Wilderness diary is a set of achievement diaries in the Wilderness region. There are four tiers of achievements they are; easy, medium, hard and elite. Each give their own unique set of rewards and each tier has a harder set of requirements to complete than the last. All rewards can be claimed from the Lesser Fanatic, who can be found on the northern bridge bordering Edgeville and Varrock.

Easy Wilderness Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Use the low alchemy spell at the Fountain of Rune.
2. Use the Ardougne or Edgeville lever to teleport to the wilderness.
3. Pray at the Chaos Altar in level 38 Wilderness.
4. Visit the Chaos runecrafting temple.
5. Kill a Mammoth.
6. Kill an earth warrior in the Edgeville dungeon.
7. Restore your prayer points at the Demonic Ruins.
8. Visit the King Black Dragon in his lair.
9. Collect 5 red spiders eggs.
10. Mine iron ore anywhere in the wilderness.
11. Teleport to the Abyss via the Mage of Zamorak.
12. Wear a team cape while in the wilderness.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the easy Wilderness diary tier the rewards include:

• Wilderness Sword 1.
• 2,500 experience in any skill level 30 or higher.
• The wilderness lever can now teleport you to Edgeville or Ardougne.
• 10 random runes for free daily from Lundail.

Medium Wilderness Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Mine a mithril rock anywhere in the Wilderness.
2. Kill an Ent and chop it until you receive some yew logs.
3. Visit the Wilderness God Wars Dungeon.
4. Kill a green dragon in the Wilderness.
5. Complete a lap of the Wilderness Agility Course.
6. Kill an Ankou anywhere in the wilderness.
7. Charge an earth orb.
8. Kill a bloodveld in the wilderness GWD.
9. Speak to the emblem trader in Edgeville to learn about emblems.
10. Smith a gold helmet while in the Wilderness Resource Area.
11. Open a muddy chest in the Lava Maze.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the medium Wilderness diary tier the rewards include:

• Wilderness Sword 2.
• 7,500 experience in any chosen skill level 40 or higher.
• Successful yield from Ents now 15% more likely.
• Cost to enter resource area reduced by 20%.
• Can hold a total of 4 ecumenical keys at once.
• Lundail provides 20 random runes for free daily.
• Shortcut access in the Deep Wilderness Dungeon.

Hard Wilderness Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Deal damage with one of the god spells on another player in the wilderness.
2. Charge an air orb.
3. Catch a black salamander.
4. Smith an adamant scimitar in the Wilderness Resource Area.
5. Kill a lava dragon and bury its bones on the lava dragon island.
6. Kill the Chaos Fanatic, Scorpia and Crazy Archaeologist.
7. Use the agility shortcut that connects Trollheim to the Wilderness.
8. Kill the Chaos Elemental.
9. Kill a spiritual warrior in the wilderness GWD.
10. Fish a raw lava eel in the wilderness.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the hard Wilderness diary tier the rewards include:

• Wilderness Sword 3. Provides one free daily teleport to the Fountain of Rune.
• 15,000 experience in any chosen skill at level 50 or above.
• 50% additional lava shards when crushing lava scales.
• Ability to use the shortcut on the Lava Dragon isle.
• Ability to use the shortcut in the Lava Maze.
• Ability to hold up to 5 ecumenical keys at once.
• Lundail will provide 30 random runes for free daily.
• Ability to set the destination of the Ancient Obelisk teleports.
• 50% off the fee to enter the Resource Area.
• Wine of Zamorak from the Deep Wilderness Dungeon will be noted.

Elite Wilderness Diary

Requirements

Tasks to complete

1. Kill Venenatis, Callisto and Vet’ion. Killing their weaker solo only counterparts will also work, this includes Artio, Spindel and Calvarion.
2. Use a Ghorrock teleport spell.
3. Fish a dark crab in the Resource Area and cook it.
4. Kill the Runite Golems in the Resource area and mine them for rune ore. Smelt the ore in the furance and smith a rune scimitar.
5. Steal from the chests in the Rogues’ Castle.
6. Kill a Spiritual Mage while in the wilderness GWD.

Rewards

Every time you complete a tier of any achievement diary you will be granted some rewards. For the elite Wilderness diary tier the rewards include:

• Wilderness Sword 4. Provides unlimited free teleports to the Fountain of Rune.
• 50,000 experience in any skill at level 70 or above.
• Access to the Resource Area is now free.
• Any dragon found in the wilderness will now drop noted bones.
• Lundail will now give 50 random runes for free daily.
• Dark crab catch rate is now increased.
