Trauma education and injury prevention

Trauma is a serious injury or shock to the body. It is caused by a physical force, such as an accident or violence. The injury may be complicated by psychiatric, behavioral and social factors.

We are dedicated to providing education on a variety of topics related to reducing your risk of injury and how to respond if one occurs. As part of that, our injury prevention coordinator is available to provide presentations. Presentation topics range from senior fall prevention to Stop the Bleed, a nationally recognized bleeding control program.
