Is there one that works? I want to be able to start attacking a mob even if I don’t have energy for a Sinister Strike to open combat. /cast Sinister Strike /script if not IsCurrentAction(36) then UseAction(36) end; That is the one I’m currently trying, but it doesn’t seem to work. I have the Auto Attack in the proper slot, but it definitely doesn’t start attacking. Suggestions?

We all love /startattack right. Sure, we do. But I have a scenario where I want /startattack to only work IN combat. OR I need /startattack to STOP auto-targetting enemies for me As far as i know, conditionals like [combat] don’t work on /startattack Also: /cast [combat]!Auto Attack doesnt work (will just toggle it on and off - very annoying). I’m guessing that what I want is not possible , but ideally I’m proven wrong or otherwise I’m looking for confirmation from actual experts here.

Hi, I'd just like to clarify the exact reason why people macro their special attacks with /startattack... Is it to get some white damage going before your special ability starts? Because white damage will start anyway when I attack normally with hemo anyway. If someone could explain to me in simple terms why this is so important, would be really thankful! :)

Is this command something you should tie to your attacks? I've heard some people do that, and others claim it messes up your swing timers. Anyone got solid knowledge about it?
